Land Acknowledgement

Our studio is located 3 miles from the Duwamish Longhouse & Cultural Center and resides on the traditional land of the Duwamish Tribe.

A seagull perches on a wooden piling in the foreground, with the Seattle skyline and Space Needle visible across the water—a serene view that invites reflection and land acknowledgement.

We gather on unceded Indigenous land

Our Act in Solidarity

Every month, we pay real rent to the Duwamish as a charitable donation.

We at Live Oak Audio Visual recognize that we gather on unceded Indigenous land: the traditional territory of Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish Tribe (Dkhw Duw’Absh), the first people of Seattle. People who are still here and continue to honor and bring to light their ancient heritage, stewarding this land for generations.
